We are beyond thrilled that we found Linda to officiate our ceremony! We first had a zoom meeting with her and were sure that she was the right choice for us. She answered ALLLL of our many questions about the order of things, assured us she would include the personal details we wanted, and cut the things we didn't.
We later met her in person for coffee where she asked us questions about our relationship, our love story, more specific details about what we wanted to include and she created a ceremony that couldn't have been more perfect. She incorporated funny personal anecdotes for a ceremony that was both heartfelt and full of moments of levity. Our guests laughed, they cried, they told us it was one of the most emotional wedding ceremonies they had ever been to! Trying to find someone for your special wedding day can be tough. My fiance came to Weddingwire and found Linda Hendrick he reached out to her and we immediately made an appointment to meet. From the first hello how are you we knew she was the one we wanted to officiate our ceremony. She was genuine, nice and funny which we love. We immediately gave her a deposit and booked the day. Rev. Linda saved the day for us. Our original plans for an officiant for our wedding fell through, and we only had three weeks left. I reached out to Linda and she responded immediately, and luckily she was available for that day. She turned on a dime and was able to prepare an entire ceremony for us in that incredibly short and intense time frame without a problem, after meeting with us. Some of the things that stood out to us:
- Accommodating: Like I mentioned above, she handily accommodated the unreasonable time frame we had, and was pleasant and fun the entire time. - Great ceremony: The ceremony she wrote was a great mix of somber, light, silly, and romantic. We were getting compliments about it from multiple people at the wedding. - Enthusiastic: You can tell Rev. Linda really enjoys doing weddings. In one part of the ceremony, where she was about to do a bit where she was going to "reluctantly" say something silly on our behalf, she really went into the role, paused, and sighed before continuing as if preparing herself, for maximum impact. 10/10 We highly recommend Rev. Linda as an officiant/celebrant!
